Tattler Lake just before the Group Shot

Day 4 - Tattler Lake - Booth Lake - Kitty Lake - Farm Lake

We woke up and yet again start to get some coffee going, has we will needed it for our canoe back to Farm Lake. We all slowly started to pack are barrels, backpacks and dismantling our tents/hammocks. We than did a walkthrough of the campsite to ensure that we did not leave anything behind and that it was clean of garbage. Before we left, we took our group picture.

Tattler Lake at Night

Day 3 - Tattler Lake

With the morning rising we awoke and started to get hot water going for some much needed coffee. Which gave us energy to start cooking breakfast, bacon and scrambled eggs! The weather was amazing and the lake was like glass.

A few of my friends could not wait to get back out on the water to start fishing again. While they fished, I stayed back and played some games of euchre and a round of boccie ball with the other campers. We also went for a swim, the walk out is quite mushy and you can walk quite a bit out, with it being shallow. The temperature of the water was amazing, so nice and warm.

Farm Lake

Day 1 - Farm Lake - Kitty Lake - Booth Lake - Tattler Lake

We stopped in at Algonquin Bound, Madawaka store to pay for our canoes and pick up the paddles. From there it is around half hour drive to Shall Lake Access Point 17. The ride in was filled with beautiful foliage and around half of it was a dirt road with many bumps in it. When we got to the Access Point I stepped out of the truck and enjoyed that fresh Algonquin air, it felt good to be back. I went to go pick up the camping permit has my friends started to unload the truck with our gear.
